Conservatism:
God and Politics

Ring Site Info

What your page should include:

To become a member of the ring, you must have a web page which is obviously a politically conservative and/or Christian page. This is a politically Conservative Christian ring, so liberal oriented sites will not be accepted.

The Ring is intended to link web sites (for the purpose of this Ring, Blog's are considered web sites) which have as their primary content issues of importance to people who are politically Conservative and Christian, and who enjoy voicing their opinion and publishing it on their web sites. It is not intended to link sites where the site manager is personally conservative, but such ideology is not reflected on the web site.

If you have a question on whether your site is appropriate, just I will be happy to check it out. Please make sure the title of your e-mail contains something such as 'Question about Conservatism: God and Politics Ring' so it's easier for me to find amidst the spam messages that tend to fill my mailbox.

What your page can not include: Each site is evaluated on an individual basis, but there are a few things that will not be accepted on the ring.

  • Sites advocating violence.
  • Sites promoting racism.
  • Sites containing pornography or "adult" material.
  • Sites which register a page of nothing but web rings. This might entertain the author, but certainly not the visitor.
  • Violent/racist sites posing as valid militia sites. In most cases this ring will support lawful citizen militia groups but this excludes any militia group or individual that promotes racist or illegal activity. However, each site is reviewed on an individual basis.

If you want an idea of what types of sites are presently on the ring, take a look at the complete list of sites on the Ring

IMPORTANT: please place your web ring graphic and links on the URL you register! For example, if you register http://www.mywebsite.com please do not place the web ring graphic and links on http://www.mywebsite.com/page/mypage.html

To add your site to the queue, please fill out the form on our RingSurf page or the complete list of sites on the Ring page: Join This Ring. At this point you will fill out the required information and be given some HTML code to put on your site. That code will will provide a text link and allow RingSurf to verify the site and place it in my queue for review. It is best(but not absolutely necessary) if you copy the code and place it on your site BEFORE you click the  submit button. Once the code is on your site click on SUBMIT and the page will be checked automatically and added to the queue for approval.

Please place the ring code obtained from RingSurf on your site before you add your site to the queue.

Submitting your page to the queue does not make you part of the ring! After submitting your page to the queue, I will review the site and if approved you will receive an e-mail with the Banner code to insert on your web page.

If you have any problems with the code, please e-mail me and I will help you with your code. The code is very simple - all you have to do is copy and paste the code onto your page! Again, please make sure the title of your e-mail contains something such as 'Question about Conservatism: God and Politics Ring' so it's easier for me to find amidst the spam messages that tend to fill my mailbox.

The ring code must be added with a plain TEXT editor or an editor that allows for RAW HTML editing. Some editors, such as FrontPage, alter the code so that it becomes part of the text, and not part of the HTML. If you do not add it properly, you will see the HTML fragment and not the ring links and the graphic.

Again, I CAN NOT ADD YOUR SITE UNTIL YOU  REGISTERED FOR THE WEB RING. In addition, if I find that a site has removed the ring code after joining the ring, I will remove it from the ring.

The code I email to you will create a web-ring graphic and navigational bar that looks like this:

red white and blue Conservatism: God and Politics
